Immediately prior to the pandemic we said farewell to our conductor of many years, Huw Williams, and welcomed Simon Bell as our new conductor (previously our Accompanist).
In spite of the obvious challenges of taking on and directing a choir during a pandemic, Simon nonetheless successfully enabled us to produce some on-line performances, which can be viewed on our YouTube channel.
This collection also includes a recording of Fauré's Cantique de Jean Racine made at the summer Concert in Minchinhampton, June 2019 . Zoë Hynes compiled the photo montage to accompany the recording as a project during the singing deprived months during the pandemic.
