Dear Friends of the Stroud Choral Society,
Thank you for your continuing suppport of our choir. We would like to invite you to our concert on Saturday 20th June at 7pm in St Georges' Church in Nailsworth (see our summery flyer below).
We are delighted to be performing a programme of choral works together with our Youth Choir, ranging from the 16th century composer, Victoria, to a contemporary work by Eric Whitacre, and including such favourites as Zadok the Preist and Faure's Cantique de Jean Racine. Our final piece will be Stanford's Te Deum, sung by both choirs together.
Simon Bell will lead Stroud Choral, accompanied by Nicholas Freestone on the organ, while Zoe Hynes will lead the Youth Choir, accompanied by Nicola Jee on piano.
You are most welcome to join us for our after-concert complimentary drinks, a wonderful way to celebrate mid-summer eve and to welcome in the summer.
